About the role

The Director of Strategic Projects at FutureSearch is responsible for identifying and running emerging projects, and owning their delivery to achieve breakthrough outcomes. In FutureSearch's first 3 years of operations, we faced a highly diverse set of challenges, from working with large grantors and investors, running design partnerships in new business areas, running offsites, publishing research in prestigious journals, giving demos at large conferences, partnering with prominent AI firms, and many more. The Director of Strategic Projects finds and lands highly ambitious projects like these, generally spanning 1-4 weeks. They are comfortable being evaluated primarily on outcomes, and are extremely pragmatic. The Director of Strategic Projects works very closely with the Chief of Staff and the CEO, and builds strong relationships with every member of the small and growing team. Requirements Proven track record leading ambitious projects in a small team Effective at leading an effort without being the manager of people working on that effort Benefits FutureSearch is fully remote. We concentrate in London, with SF and Berlin as our next most traveled work locations. We prioritize traveling to meet at minimum 6 times per year, usually in or near London. As a remote company, we have flexible hours, with required synchronous attendance for critical US - Europe overlap hours (~7-10am PDT). We are a seed stage startup, and we offer higher-than-average equity for startups of our stage. We offer full benefits, depending on the country, including healthcare, paternity/maternity leave, equipment, and travel expenses. Salary range is $140k - $220k for US roles, and adjusted for the local labor market outside the US. Originally posted on Himalayas
